New Yard Amphibian: Eastern Red-backed Salamander

Hi all

We were on front porch during a rain down pour when I noticed a “squiggly” thing meandering across our deck. At first glance thought a baby snake (Garter) but closer inspection revealved a salamander–no doubt moving to higher ground. 🙂
