Hi all
Over the weekend visited Plattsburgh, NY-area and my favorite local Vermont sites-including Saint Michaels Natural Area for first time.
Thanks
The Vermont Birder Guy
Saint Albans Beach
Very windy, 16 Bonaparte’s Gull riding the winds near shore.

Sand Bar WMA
At Sand Bar treated to Hooded Merganser, Northern Pintail, Mallard and Wood Duck.

Saint Michael’s Natural Area
Visited Saint Michael’s for first time, neat place. I only spent about half-hour just to get “feel” for it. Saw about 15 “regular” birds, best birds for me were Peregrine Falcon riding the winds above and nice flock of Cedar Waxwing. Only took scene setting photos.

Sheldom-area
During pouring rain stopped to take photos of very wet Wild Turkey regulars feeding in usual field along Vermont 105.

Usual daily Sheldon yard feeder birds. Missing but present were Red-breasted Nuthatch, Blue Jay and, flyover American Crow and Canada Goose

Plattsburgh, NY
Visiting Plattsburgh, NY for first time since we moved to Vermont on Saturday found the local gull hangout–quite a few Great Black-backed Gull along with others.
