Hi all
New yard bird #56. I had an “old Colorado friend”, Merlin, in our yard perched somewhere who did a “feeder array” flyby and spooked our birds of course. 🙂 First one I’ve seen since our Vermont move in May. Nice to see again. No photo yet–she knows where the “buffet line” is.
In other endeavors Saint Albans Beach-area hosted five Common Loon, a very large raft of Common Goldeneye and some Common Merganser and Lesser Scaup. Only gulls were Herring and Ring-billed. Double-crested Cormorants still there.

At home the “regulars” outside of the Merlin above. Red-bellied Woodpecker continues.

Thanks
The Vermont Birder Guy
