Merlin [Franklin] and Shelburne Bay [Chittenden]

Hi all

Merlin reappeared in our Sheldon yard again watching our feeder birds very intently. 🙂

Over at Shelburne Bay. The bay was open and active. Added one new species, two Canada Goose. Saw same nine species as last week, AMERICAN WIGEON, American Black Duck, Common and Hooded Merganser, Bufflehead, Mallard, Ring-necked Duck, Lesser Scaup and Common Merganser. On Harbor Road (north) at one overlook area had three Common Loon this time and three Eastern Bluebird.

Short video of one of the Common Loon – https://youtu.be/v6zLPz3fzIo.

Over at Dunsmore Road found a flock of Canada Goose in the fields. Did not see or hear Snow Bunting, Lapland Longspur or Horned Lark must have been out in the middle of fields.

Thanks
